POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for all non-food purchasing connected with casino/hotel services, equipment, and inventories. Identify, document, and maintain accountability for all Cliff Castle Casino Hotel assets. Responsible for compliance with procurement regulations established by Tribal, State, and Federal regulatory agencies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Specific areas of responsibility included, but not limited to:
•Establishes and maintains effective procurement policies and procedures.
•Directs procurement and distribution activities for casino/hotel departments.
•Ensure vendor license compliance on all purchase requests.
•Review incoming requisitions for completeness and accuracy.
•Negotiates with vendors to obtain optimum quality and cost.
•Develop and implement Policies and Procedures to ensure accountability of assets.
•Develop and implement a Cycle Count "Audit Plan" and Schedule. Perform the "Counts" as scheduled and report the findings. 
•Maintain all Asset Inventories and Audit Count Records current.
•Develop and maintain a "catalog" of all Artifacts and Art pieces for identification, location, and value. 
•Maintain the asset system to review all current Cliff Castle Casino Hotel contracts and initiate Renewal Reports to the Director of Finance three (3) months before the termination or Renewal Date of all contracts and gaming licenses.
•Obtains W-9's from vendors and notifies accounts payable for updates.
•Identifies product needs by interacting with departments. 
•Follows up on purchase requests and orders.
•Contacts vendors regarding discrepancies on orders or shipments. 
•Performs scheduled inventories.
•Reorders warehouse/office supplies as required.
•Conducts product, service, and price comparisons.
•Performs other duties as assigned. 
QUALIFICATIONS (Indicate if Qualification is Required or Preferred):
1.Education: n/a
2.Work Experience: Must have a minimum of 2.5 years in casino/hotel procurement operations experience using a computerized accounting/purchase order system.
3.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel
4.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel Knowledge of standard office practices and procedures, office equipment, recordkeeping, arithmetic and software applications.
5.Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.
6.Professional Licenses & Certifications Requirements: n/a
7.Be at least 18 years of age.
8.Able to demonstrate eligibility to work in the U.S.
.Participate and pass pre-employment drug screening and background investigation to obtain and maintain a valid Gaming License.
