About the Position
The Public Relations Associate is the face of the agency. The associate will be responsible for collaborating to develop and execute strategic public relations activities for the organization. Candidates must be self-starters who possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This position reports to the Public Relations Team Lead.
Responsibilities
Provide outstanding customer service
Providing customers with important information about the organization and the program
Supports the Marketing team in creating and executing a Community relations strategy, partnering with offices, associations and other local organizations
Develops and maintains relationships with clients within the Hispanic community leaders
Regularly attend events and meetings and ensure that relevant information is being shared
Generate ideas and plans how to expand and spread the word within the Hispanic community.
Engage with local Hispanic authorities
Measure the effectiveness of communications efforts, establishing benchmarks and using analytics to inform decisions
Follow all IDoA and AUAF policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required
High School Diploma or GED
A minimum 2 years of experience as PR; or Communications related in the field
Authorized to work in the United States
Pass state required background checks
Fluency in Spanish
Preferred
College degree or equivalent work experience
Knowledge of health care/home care industry
