Full job description $21.00 to $32.00 per hour
The City of Sioux Falls Health Department Laboratory is seeking a part-time Public Health Scientist. This is a non-benefitted position working up to 28 hours per week with weekday and evening shifts. Duties include: phlebotomy/specimen collection, routine lab test performance including microbiology, preventative maintenance, inventory control, and data input. Qualifications and Skills:
Qualified applicants should hold an associate's or bachelor's degree in laboratory science, chemistry, biology or microbiology, and have experience in clinical laboratory science, computer knowledge with EMR experience being a plus, possess excellent customer service and communication skills, and a professional attitude.
