PART-TIME NURSING ASSISTANT PARK RIDGE, IL/CHICAGO AREA Join Our Team at HealthTronics as a Part-Time Nursing Assistant
This part-time position is perfect for someone with a flexible schedule interested in supplemental income opportunities. You only work two days a week (16 hours a week). Every Wednesday, you'll be supporting medical procedures in an outpatient environment typically between the hours of 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM. The second work day you can choose what day you want to work to help take care of inventory and non-clinical position requirements. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Patient Care Support: From greeting and preparing patients for procedures to assisting during operations and ensuring comfort, you're on the front line of patient care. Sterilization and Safety Compliance: Oversee the sterilization of instruments and equipment, maintaining stringent safety standards. Supply and Environment Management: Keep our sites fully stocked and organized, ensuring all necessary supplies and tools are at hand for every procedure. Vendor Coordination: Manage and coordinate with vendor partners for onsite services, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery. Emergency Readiness: Be prepared and responsive in emergency situations, supporting the clinical staff to provide immediate care. POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience: High school diploma required; additional certification in Surgical Technology or similar field preferred. Experience in perioperative settings or healthcare supply chain management is a plus. Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication skills, ability to work under pressure, detail-oriented with a strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare operations. Apply Today!
