Responsibilities
• Provide clinical expertise to ensure high-quality, efficient care• Contribute to quality nursing care through process improvement and collaboration• Manage patient flow, including screening, preparation, general nursing care, and admissions• Instruct patients and families on medications and treatment instructions• Maintain and review patients' records• Administer medications in accordance with orders• Incorporate knowledge of patient's age specific development and cultural diversity into the plan of care
Requirements
• Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing, Associate's Degree or higher• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice• Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification• 1-3 years' experience as a registered nurse preferred• Behavioral Health Experience preferred• Completion of CPI within 90 days of hire• Basic Cardiac Life Support obtained within 30 days of employment start date• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention obtained within 90 days of employment start date
