Psychiatric Nurse Supervisor

Help people get back into the swing of life becoming a Psychiatric Nurse Supervisor (LPN)! Summary: Full Time Position (40hrs - 45hrs/week) Monday through Friday No weekends and no major holidays! Essential Job Responsibilities: Supervise and manage a team of licensed practical nurses & medical support staff at multiple locations Recruit, train, retain and evaluate nursing & med support staff performance Ensure staff maintain active clearances, training, & productivity requirements Identify staff development & training needs Maintain nursing guidelines by implementing & updating policies and procedures, under the supervision & direction of the Medical Director Travel to other locations to provide oversight of staff Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities & directing the work of supervised staff Ensure smooth operation of daily functions of the nurse & med support staff to assist medical providers Build & maintain collaborative relationships with interdisciplinary staff and administrators Qualifications: Three years of clinical nursing experience Preferred Qualifications: Supervisory experience Previous mental health experience
