Responsibilities
• Ensure providers meet consumer needs• Answer provider line• Develop relationships with providers• Develop provider manuals and handbooks• Implement action plans for provider service calls• Participate in provider orientation• Assist with development of newsletters and educational materials• Ensure providers have relevant educational materials• Implement corrective action plans• Meet goals for provider service meetings• Balance external provider servicing with in-office responsibilities• Manage supplemental service enrollment process• Understand and communicate authorization process
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in healthcare, human services, or related field• 2 years of experience in healthcare or managed care environment• 2 years of experience working in a complex organizational environment• Experience as a behavioral health services provider preferred• Excellent written and oral communication skills• Problem-solving skills• Knowledge of public and private delivery systems in behavioral health care
