**Responsibilities**

As the Physician Recruitment Manager for Dell Children's Health Plan (DCHP), you will manage and operationalize physician recruitment and retention strategies for physicians and midlevel providers. Experience with Medicaid - STAR and CHIP, as well as a strong sales background is required.

Travel throughout central Texas is required.

Other responsibilities include:

+ Manage the physician recruitment team through mentoring and prioritization of department operations, assigned searches, workload, and special projects.

+ Work closely with executives to prioritize new and replacement opportunities based on the organizations overall strategy.

+ Manage and complete activities on all searches including the coordination of formal offers and drafting employment agreements.

+ Manage the recruitment process including but not limited to these activities: development of recruitment plan, sourcing candidates, screening candidates, arranging site visits, negotiating agreements and relocation activities.

+ Prepare fair market value salary survey data that is used to guide board and administration regarding provider compensation.

+ Monitor budgets, regulatory compliance, contracts and vendor relations.

**Requirements**

Education:

+ High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

+ 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

**Additional Preferences**

+ Bachelors degree

+ 3+ years Health Plan experience - Medicaid STAR & CHIP

+ 3+ years experience managing people (direct reports) & processes

+ Innovative and can embrace change
