JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW:


This position is responsible for provider compensation contract management and completing payroll for companies as assigned. The Provider Compensation Specialist is responsible for entering all necessary data into payroll software, receiving and reviewing system generated reports, gathering and preparing all incoming pay data, setting up and calculating new recurring compensation variables, reviewing and analyzing data, and compiling the final documentation required to be saved for audit and backup.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Submitting and confirming payments are processed in a timely manner.


• Gathering and preparing pay data for entry


• Entering approved pay incentives into payroll software


• Reviewing corporate payroll reports


• Interpreting contract language


• Validate complex calculations


• Data Analytics for accuracy of data


• Compiling backup for audit and SOX compliance


• Reviewing and analyzing EMR data accuracy


• Receiving and preparing off cycle pay requests


• Working with regional leadership for accurate payrolls prior to, during and after payroll.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:


• Associate's Degree preferred; or 2+ years equivalent work


Experience, in accounting, data analytics and payroll.


• Knowledge of basic accounting principles required


• Experience with payroll software preferred


• Excellent organizational and analytic skills


• Excellent problem-solving skills


• Proficient in Excel (Pivot Table, V-lookups and advanced formulas)


• Good decision-making and judgment skills


• Good communication skills (verbal and written)


• Must be able to work under pressure meeting critical deadlines


• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills


• Ability to work in a team environment and with leadership

• Job performed in a remote setting


• Demonstrates and maintains regular attendance per work schedule based on varied deadlines


• Occasional lifting/carrying (10 pounds or less)


• Occasional standing/bending
