Responsibilities
• Monitor and manage community rental rates• Address resident complaints, concerns, and requests• Maintain community appearance and ensure necessary maintenance is completed• Implement marketing strategies and initiatives• Review applications, prepare leases, and complete necessary paperwork• Ensure apartments are move-in ready• Orient new residents to the community• Prepare annual budgets• Collect deposits, rental payments, and other charges• Set work schedule for on-site employees• Support team development
Requirements
• 3+ years of Property Manager experience• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations• High school diploma or equivalent (college-level education preferred)• Computer proficiency, including MS Office and YARDI• Active apartment association membership preferred• Industry designations strongly preferred
