A.J. Dwoskin & Associates is a Northern Virginia based property management and investment company specializing in multi-family communities and retail shopping centers. We are seeking a Leasing Consultant to join the team at our 450-unit apartment community in Tysons Corner, VA or 248-unit community in Fairfax, VA
The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic, fast- paced environment and has sales or customer-related experience. The Leasing Consultant participates in the sales and customer service of the business. The Leasing Consultant is the customer's first point of contact and is responsible for selling (leasing) apartment homes by building a positive rapport with prospective residents and assisting them with the selection of their new home. In addition, the Leasing Consultant plays a key role in resident relationships by assisting residents and teammates to deliver a positive housing experience.
A Leasing Consultant must be friendly, flexible and a team player with the ability to multi-task in sales and resident relations; is confident in addressing prospect or residents' concerns in a professional, compassionate manner; and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Primary Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:
Execute the day-to-day administrative leasing tasks and transactions. Participate and strive to achieve assigned property sales/leasing goals. Assist residents during move-in/move-out. Understand community policies and assist team in monitoring and when applicable communicating with residents. Build rapport and good relations with residents (resident events and follow up). Resolve resident issues as they arise and escalate those requiring management assistance. Follow up on maintenance work orders and repairs for timeliness and resident satisfaction.
