Property Maintenance Crew Lead

Bellingham based commercial/multifamily property maintenance company seeks to immediately add full time maintenance crew lead to our team. Work is involves all elements of repair and general maintenance for apartments and commercial buildings.

This job is for a working team lead. The job requires good communication skills with property managers, maintenance personnel, vendors, and tenants. Computer skills with the ability to learn company property maintenance software is required.

Being able to physically work with the team along with training maintenance personnel in different property maintenance and repairs is a routine part of the job.

Job responsibilities are as follows:

Receive and perform work orders alone or as part of a team leader on job sites

Timely respond to work orders based upon the level of urgency

Be able to quickly assess and estimate time and materials for various work orders.

Work independently or as part of a team.

Operate and care for company tools and equipment

Must have a functioning Smart Phone and be able to get online to receive emails & texts.

Must have valid driver license & reliable source of transportation - mileage paid or company vehicle provided.

Ability to perform physical labor, lifting, and other strenuous physical tasks in all weather.

Comfortable in using a step ladder or extension ladder to perform certain tasks on occasion.

Be at least 21 years of age.

EMPLOYMENT REQUIRES a clean criminal background check and good driving record due to employer insurance requirements.

EMPLOYMENT REQUIRES being punctual, reliable, polite, and have a positive work attitude at all times.
