Responsibilities
• Visit claim sites, gather information, and assess property damage• Analyze insurance policies and determine coverage• Prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate records• Interact with stakeholders and address questions or concerns• Negotiate settlements with policyholders and third-party claimants• Collaborate with other departments for accurate assessment• Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations• Perform other assigned duties
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience• Minimum of three years of property adjuster experience• Strong understanding of construction principles• Excellent communication and customer service skills• Exceptional organization and time management skills• Valid driver's license• Ability to perform physical requirements of the job• Bilingual abilities are a plus• Prior experience in cause and origin experts preferred• Familiarity with multi-line claims adjusting preferred• HAAG Certification preferred
