POSITION SUMMARY:
The Project Team Manager (PTM) is responsible for the overall success of multiple, concurrent, hi-visibility projects. The PTM is involved from the sales phase through the collection of final payment after installation. This includes coordination of all project details between the customer, sales, manufacturing, engineering (including complex custom designs), and third-party OEM equipment installation. This position is located onsite, in Chesterfield, MO and may require some travel. 
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Participates in the pre-order/sales process for complex custom orders as needed. Participates in applicable demos and pre-sale conversations with the customer as needed. Works with department director to select members of the project team. Serves as the singular point of contact for the customer from kickoff meeting through installation and production startup. Travels to customer sites to present project proposals and review status updates when needed. Informs customers of progress with both verbal and written communications, sets clear expectations upfront, and ensures that the customer understands their responsibilities and those of Mark Andy, Inc. Responsible for the accuracy of all aspects of the press build, testing, install, training, and support through installation. Reviews order specifications including third party equipment and performance requirements with sales and engineering. Prepares and maintains a project plan and design schedule including relevant dates, responsibilities, and documentation. Oversees the design approach and conducts regular project review meetings to establish responsibilities, review commitments, review requirements, and monitor and communicate progress. Drives cross-functional completion of the project; conducts regular and timely follow ups of progress, communicating any problems to appropriate functional management as needed. Develops validation test plans, monitors, and supports successful in- plant validation testing and press acceptance testing per the requirements of the project plan. Documents all conclusions and planned actions of meetings by issuing timely detailed meeting minutes, to include conclusions, action plans, responsibilities, and dates. Leads resolution for all needs and projects associated with customers and their press through build and installation. Follows up to assure that exception items (such as backorders) listed in the acceptance shipment list are completed. Maintains contact with customer and field service during the installation portion of the project. Keeps service informed of progress related to installation and backorders; assures that customer exceptions are recorded, and a plan of action prepared and executed such that final payments are made in a timely manner. Accepts and completes other duties assigned by Director. REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional tact in driving results through indirect reports and external customers. Ability to understand and succinctly explain printing and engineering terms and designs. Occasional travel may be required but is not anticipated to be more than 10% of the time. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree; preferably in Engineering or related field. Minimum of 6 years' experience in a related field; preferably in Project Management or Project Engineering, with an emphasis on machine design for printing/manufacturing. PMP certification or similar a plus, but not required. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Moderate to frequent exposure to shop environment; may be exposed to dust, odors, oils, fumes, chemicals, noise, and moving parts. Work typically requires the use of PPE and can require work on the facility's production floor or customer's production environment.  Frequently required to sit. Occasional walking, standing, stooping, and kneeling. Frequent lifting up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifts or moves up to 50 pounds. OTHER DUTIES:
