SIS has an immediate opportunity available for a Project Team Lead - Hybrid to support one of our 18 IT Air Force programs at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, OH. This is a Hybrid position, working on-site 2 days per week with 3 days per week working remotely. Summary: "A Day in the Life" Your job is to make the lives of the SharePoint designers easier - to remove obstacles from their way; to foster communications among the Government, the Contractor, and the customer; and to help sing their praises. You solve problems and you need to be creative sometimes to do that. You help provide the glue for the team to be the cohesive unit it needs to be to perform at an optimum level.  Primary Job Duties: Lead a Technical Team with various skill levels and individual needs. Perform administrative functions such as setting up meetings (Daily Technical Team meetings; weekly PMO Staff Meetings, Scrum meetings with the customer, and Catch-up meetings with the Government DSOR II Capability Delivery Manager (CDM); Quarterly Requirements Reviews, and specialized meetings as needed) and facilitating them. Perform Team Lead duties such as monitoring and approving timesheets and PTO balances, in-processing new hires, and providing guidance to the team members. Generate agendas and meeting minutes and deliver them IAW the Contract Data Requirements Listing (CDRLs). Perform contract management by ensuring the Technical Team performs work IAW the Performance Work Statement and CDRLs. Work closely with the Technical Writer to ensure the 11 deliverables are quality products and are delivered on time as well as amended as needed. Coordinate and work closely with the Technical Lead to ensure personnel are properly trained and the team's workload is properly distributed. Perform Release management activities for every sprint which includes implementing the release and conducting sprint planning before the end of each sprint. Identify new risks and monitor existing ones; formulate get well plans and contingency plans for identified risks. Draft and deliver the Monthly Status Report and Integrated Master Schedule deliverables on a monthly basis. Prepare travel estimates for the Technical Team's TDYs and submit the request for travel to the Government CDM for approval and subsequent approval by the Contracting Officer. Establish good working relationships with the Government CDM, HQ AFMC/A4FD customer, and among the Technical Team members to ensure the proper flow of information exchange and customer satisfaction. Secondary Job Duties: Provide inputs for DSOR II suspenses such as the monthly downtime report, Monthly Acquisition Report, and other suspenses as requested by the Government CDM. Ensure the Technical Team conducts monthly in-depth training to keep all its members up to date on new technologies and standardization among the DSOR/DMA processes. Monitor the Baseline Change Request (BCR) Tool for status changes and progression of the requirements and the Help Desk Tool for resolution of help desk tickets. Ensures the Help Desk (Tier levels 2 & 3; technical and functional) is covered during the times specified in the PWS.  Function as the PMO's Requirements Manager by reviewing the BCRs, ensuring the design questions are answered to provide clarity of the requirements to the Technical Team, and that requirements are assigned priorities by the customer. Function as the PMO's Configuration Manager by managing the ISMT process and Logistics Information Technology Change Control Process (LOG IT CCP) for each sprint/release. As the PMO's Release Manager, ensure each release is approved by the customer, updated in the BCR Tool, released in ISMT, and send out an implementation message announcing the deployment.   Review every deliverable and provide feedback to the Technical Writer and PMO Test Manager (for the SharePoint Test Report for each release) to finalize the deliverables. Send the email and formally deliver each deliverable to the DSOR II Government CDM and Contracting Officer.  Perform briefing support and write white papers or plans as requested by the Government CDM.  This support includes Capabilities briefings, Minimal Viable Product briefings, Migration Plans, Concept papers, etc. Provide training support for the technical aspect of the DSOR & DMA processes as requested by the Government CDM. Update the Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) Listing (spreadsheet) as changes to the Government equipment and installed software occur among the Technical Team members. Review and provide inputs for the Contractor Performance Assessment Report (CPAR) as requested by the Government CDM. Conduct wellness checks with the team members; write-up awards for both the prime and subcontractor team members; facilitate teambuilding sessions and ensure the overall good morale of the team. Nice to Have/Pluses: Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills. Strong oral and written communication skills Good presentation skills, customer relationship, and leadership skills. Outstanding planning, management, and organizational skills. Knowledgeable in agile methodology. Familiar with the Information Systems Management Tool (ISMT) for requirements management. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Position Requirements: 8 years' experience serving as the project lead for a complex project, or group of projects, and working with the Government Contracting Officer, Contractor project leads, Government management personnel and customer agency representatives. MUST be able to pass a government background check and hold a favorable NAC (government background check). MUST be a U.S. Citizen.
