Project Ramp Manager

Partners Personnel is searching for a Project Ramp Manager f or a client in Fountain Inn, SC.   This is a direct hire  opportunity.  The Project Manager will lead existing plans to further execute an expansion of an existing production plant. It's the purpose of a Project Manager to assure the site readiness to successfully execute the launch and ramp-up as well as manage all necessary stakeholders to coordinate the ramp-up in the US and within the company. As a Project Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the technical scope and industrialization of the manufacturing equipment and ensuring safety and certification approvals are met with the right quality. 
Estimated Salary:  $100K 1st shift Key Tasks and Responsibilities:  •    Define all necessary ramp-up scenarios and monitor implementation.
•    Develop together with existing functions project plans for all ramp-up work packages.
•    Create and maintain an up-to-date, detailed project plan in MS Project or similar.
•    Break down the project into doable tasks and establish a time plan.
•    Support other plant stakeholders in activities to meet the time plan. 
•    Preparations and delegation of tasks/actions within the overall ramp-up plan
•    Identifying necessary resource needs
•    Maintain a deviation log for costs that fall outside the budget and update project budget as needed
•    Analyze risks/opportunities
Qualifications •    Degree in engineering, industrial engineering, business administration or other comparable educations.
•    Experience in the management of major projects with multidisciplinary complexity in an international environment.
•    Technical understanding of mechanical engineering and production processes in the field of metal stamping and welding (other industries will be considered)
•    Confident use of MS Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
•    Project planning skills with project software, MS Project or similar
•    Proficient in written and spoken English
•    Team and communication skills
•    Commitment and ability to integrate
•    Analytical mindset and strategic way of working
•    Previous experience from automotive industry is a plus
