Responsibilities
• Develop and present project sourcing & procurement plans for capital projects• Lead Project Sourcing negotiations for project work streams• Work collaboratively with various departments and stakeholders• Identify capital projects and contract value opportunities• Manage end-to-end project sourcing and contracting process• Assist with contract start-up functions• Identify emerging opportunities within the supply community• Evaluate existing contract relationships and identify savings opportunities• Negotiate commercial terms for project-based spend• Manage contract life-cycle for assigned capital projects• Utilize Supply Chain technologies for project sourcing and contract management• Monitor, assess, and adjust sourcing strategies• Implement multiple strategies leveraging Total Cost of Ownership• Develop relationships with key customers• Ensure compliance with internal processes• Work closely with Supplier Relationship Management Specialist• Facilitate business reviews with key suppliers• Provide various reports as requested• Partner with Legal for compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements
• Ability to read and interpret Vendor quotes and schedules• Knowledge of Logistics Export and Import process, Incoterms, and Supply Chain principles• Knowledge of Manufacturing procedures and processes• Knowledge of Vendor engineering and document approval process• Strong experience with P2P process of SAP• Proficient with Google Workspace• Familiar with MS Office tools and proficiency in Excel• Proficient with Commercial and contract letters and email writing• Effective negotiation skills with vendors based on data and analytics• Methodical data-based problem-solving and decision-making skills• Strong organizational and planning skills• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams• Self-motivated and able to work independently• Bachelor's degree in engineering or MBA in supply chain, finance, accounting, or other business-related fields• Minimum of 5-6 years' experience in Buying or Supply Chain Management• Preferred: Advanced degree in business, management, or related field• Preferred: 3+ years' experience in Buying/Sourcing or related fields
