SUMMARY:
Provide effective management for all assigned wet utility projects achieving the goals of safety, budget compliance and customer satisfaction while adhering to company standards, processes, and objectives.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the oversight of all phases of construction projects, forecast job cost requirements, estimate change orders to ensure the successful execution of multiple projects simultaneously.
Develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents.
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management.
Effectively communicate project expectations to team members in a timely and clear manner.
Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
Set and continually manage project expectations with team members.
Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
Determine and assess the need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments if necessary.
Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
Review project proposals and plans to determine staffing requirements, equipment, and allotment of available resources.
Complete materials take-offs, establishes cost estimates, develops, and tracks material procurement schedule.
Review and approve vendor and subcontractor invoicing in a timely manner.
Review field operations and ensure that the project site is a safe workplace.
Prepare project status reports and work to ensure plans adhere to contract specifications.
Knowledge and Experience:
Minimum 3+ years of work experience in construction project management
Proficient computer skills
Demonstrated knowledge of construction principles, practices, and technology
CPR Certification
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a high level of integrity
