The Project Manager – Sourcing Operations is responsible for using data-driven analysis and strategic thinking to develop solutions for improving the efficiency of the sourcing team within the Professional Tools organization. The individual must be a detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to lead multiple projects and work with both internal and external stakeholders, as well as supplier partners.

AS A PROJECT MANAGER - SOURCING OPERATIONS, YOU WILL: Manage multiple projects from inception through receipt of first lot production by designing project plans, developing timelines, identifying milestones, devising contingency plans, and tracking performance. Execute tactical actions across multiple spend categories utilizing the proper medium, such as performing RFPs, conducting competitive tensioning, performing total cost of ownership analytics, and executing procurement system administration. Direct a portfolio of complex and wide-ranging initiatives involving multiple internal and external stakeholders and functional leaders, while developing communication plans that keep stakeholders informed. Represent the strategic focus area in various project governance and inter-department forums, including developing, executing, and monitoring a Sustainable Sourcing Program in alignment with Emerson Corporate and Professional Tools. Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders and business partners to drive strategic priorities and the corresponding regular updates on project prioritization, status, and changes. Perform regular risk assessments for the initiatives within the portfolio and develop, communicate, and execute recovery plans. Map existing information and process flows with the goal of streamlining processes within the department. Act as a thought partner for business and functional leadership to introduce new tools, processes, and ideas that deliver business results. Drive actions that facilitate supply continuity by s erving as a main interface for all sustaining products between the sourcing team and the organization. Other duties as assigned. This role has the flexibility of a remote work option up to three days a week and a core hour schedule. You can choose to flex your start and stop times given you are working during the core hours of 9:00am - 3:00pm. REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Operations, or another related discipline Six (6)+ years of supply chain experience in a high-paced, multi-location environment Professional, impartial, and independent attitude with a high degree of integrity Strong project management and team leadership skills, with the ability to develop strong support for change at all levels of internal and external organizations Strong analytical skills and the ability to digest and present complex information and ideas clearly are essential Proven ability to quickly earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders; mobilize and motivate teams; set direction and approach; resolve conflict; remove barriers; deliver tough messages with grace; execute with limited information and ambiguity Experience with stakeholder and change management Ability to communicate and present at all levels with clarity and precision PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS: Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or another related discipline Why Work in the Greater Cleveland Area
