Position: Project Manager
Location: Washington, DC (Fully Remote)

Role Overview:
We are currently seeking a Project Manager to oversee Operations and Maintenance (O&M) of a suite of business applications at a cabinet-level agency. This hands-on role operates within an Agile environment and is integral to fulfilling the agency's mission on a daily basis. The Project Manager will interface with various IT systems, serving as a pivotal link between federal managers, contracting companies, and internal project teams.
Responsibilities:
Mastering the current contract/performance work statement
Acting as the primary point of contact (POC) for the government and providing leadership and guidance to all contractor personnel assigned to this task order
Interfacing with the government and project team on all matters (performance, application, contractual)
Creating and delivering contract deliverables with accountability for submissions
Ensuring adherence to quality standards and reviewing project deliverables
Reviewing and approving invoices
Developing detailed work plans, schedules, milestone estimates, resource plans, and status reports
Managing and updating the project roadmap of major business/technical initiatives
Updating agency Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) documents
Conducting project meetings and overseeing project tracking and analysis
Managing staff performance and reviewing/approving timekeeping records
Participating in business development efforts, as required
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
PMP Certification
5+ years of project management experience
5+ years of experience managing IT Modernization and Enhancement projects valued at $1 million or more annually
5+ years of experience in business process analysis/workflow improvement
5+ years of experience with systems featuring business intelligence reporting tool capabilities
5+ years of experience working with waterfall/agile framework/methodology
1+ year of experience with financial systems
2+ years of experience with Salesforce, custom development (including Java), and cloud environments (including AWS and Azure)
Ability to execute strategy and deliverables for multiple clients and executives
Previous experience managing large-scale applications
Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
Expert communication skills (verbal and written)
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality, accurate reports
Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
Commitment to professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity
U.S. citizenship or Green Card Holder (willing to undergo a background investigation)
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree or higher
Technical certifications (e.g., CSM, ITIL)
Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes
Software release management experience
