As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing all the technical activities from project conception to completion, ensuring accuracy and quality throughout. This permanent role offers the opportunity to work on exciting aviation projects within the U.S., including new terminal buildings, equipment upgrades, and airline-specific construction activities. You will work alongside a dedicated team of project managers, project engineers, and superintendents on projects in airports nationwide.
Collaborate with clients and leverage your expertise to develop cost-effective solutions within the regulatory framework of airport construction.
Engage in diverse projects, from branding and signage to gate relocations and tenant improvements, making every day a new and exciting challenge. Key Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of aviation projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Manage project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure adherence to project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and progress reports, ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery. Communicate regularly with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to ensure project alignment and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Identify and mitigate project risks and challenges, implementing effective solutions to ensure project success. Foster a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork among project team members, promoting a collaborative work environment. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management. A focus on aviation construction projects is a plus. Two to three years of supervisory experience, leading a staff team of multiple managers, project engineers, administrators Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex projects within budget and schedule constraints. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes related to aviation facilities. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders. Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Primavera P6, Procore, Vista, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project. PMP or CAPM certification is a plus. Ability to relocate as necessary.
