SUMMARY
The Project Manager is responsible for owning the process from inception to completion by coordinating all project elements. S/he oversees the process, enhances communication between all players, and ensures that all have what they need to successfully complete their tasks, on schedule and within budget. Project Managers take responsibility for other agency functions, including scheduling, team selection, monitoring progress and scope, vendor coordination, watching costs, and tracking results. Project Managers work closely with the account team members to understand the client business model, articulate project objectives to team members and assist with ground-level project execution.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Proactive in ensuring projects to which they are assigned are completed on time and on budget Manages the statement of work, proposal and estimating process with input from account team members. Secures client approval and purchase order if applicable Manage vendor and internal resource labor against approved budgets, executing change orders where needed to keep budget and labor expenses aligned Manage development of production timelines, ensuring communication to team and client, and adherence to the timeline Open and manage the job in the company's time and billing software program Collaborate with necessary internal team members to streamline workflow Leads QA effort to ensure all deliverables are thoroughly proofed and aligned with client and DH standards and objectives, and delivered with excellence Schedules and runs meetings with internal constituents and maintains all project documentation Hosts project training as needed for onboarding or client needs
QUALIFICATIONS and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communication or related preferred Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus 3+ years of agency Project Management experience Excellent planning and organization skills Demonstrate competency and ability to contribute to projects and the team within a short period of time Demonstrate the ability to manage projects and multiple priorities with minimal oversight Strong understanding of the creative process - digital marketing experience is a plus Self-motivated, fast learner with the ability to operate independently Can handle a fast paced, demanding, client-focused environment Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) BENEFITS:
