Volt is immediately hiring for a Project Engineer in Spokane, WA
As a Project Engineer you will:
Carry out assignments related to Gas Engineering at full Mechanical or Civil Engineering level.
Performs engineering which requires broad technical and company knowledge as well as originality and judgment in the technical analysis and independent evaluation, selection and modification of standard techniques, procedures and criteria.
Designs new or modifies design of existing gas systems, including gas piping, pressure regulation and metering stations, odorizer facilities, and cathodic protection systems.
Determines design parameters and calculates material and equipment sizes and strength requirements.
Requirements:
> Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
> Team player, but also ability to work independently when necessary
> Ability to juggle multiple tasks, all with different timelines & priorities
> Good communication skills, both verbal and written
This is a full time opportunity
Pay Rate: Between $40.00-$60.00 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
