Responsibilities
• Collaborate with design engineers to review and validate product designs• Oversee release process of engineering designs• Create, maintain, and update BOMs• Implement quality control procedures• Work closely with various teams to resolve design-related issues• Participate in product development with customers• Manage engineering change requests• Coordinate and oversee prototype testing• Seek opportunities to optimize manufacturing processes• Maintain detailed records of design changes and project timelines
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product engineering• Know-how of transportation seating products and components• Know-how of transportation area and quality tools• Ability to use Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk Vault• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure• Excellent communication and organization skills
