Hybrid or On Campus Position Summary This position is in the 50% to 75% range depending on successful candidate's needs and in negotiation with the Director of the Survey Research Center. The Project Coordinator will work under the supervision of the Director of the Survey Research Center (SRC) but will be expected to work independently. Key duties include supervising, training, and evaluating student employees, managing client relations, project management, developing and maintaining the SRC's marketing plan, maintaining the SRC's website and social media pages, and other tasks as assigned by the Director.


Responsibilities Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Project management (30%) : managing the timeline and logistics of survey projects; office management; coordinating the work of SRC staff; ensuring the accuracy, reliability, validity and timeliness of data collection; acquiring mailing lists; archiving project documents and reports; managing fiscal aspects of survey projects Supervising and training (30%): recruit and hire new student research workers; train and supervise student workers for a variety of survey tasks (survey logistics, data inputting and validation, statistical summaries); identify training needs, develop training materials, implement appropriate training; complete payroll; student evaluation and compensation recommendations. Client relationship management (30%) : first contact with potential clients; clarification of survey objectives and other client needs; on-going liaison with multiple on- and off-campus information users/survey clients; providing customer service and trouble-shooting problems with clients as they arise. Marketing management (10%) : maintain the SRC's website, social media pages, and other marketing platforms; editing research reports into a visually appealing format and distributing finished reports through SRC's media platforms; acquiring new clients through promotion and advertising. Knowledge Skills and Abilities Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree in a relevant social science, marketing, or business field. Experience with project management Experience with serving clients and relationship management Strong oral and written communication skills Supervisory, training, & performance evaluation experience Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Qualifications Preferred: Experience with website and social media management Experience working with community-based organizations and businesses Experience with Microsoft Publisher, Tableau, or other data visualization tools Experience with learning new software involved in survey research Posting Detail Information
