This role initially begins on a contractual basis with the potential for swift transition to a permanent position for the right candidate.

Overview of the Role:
Immediate start upon offer, with potential for permanent placement
On-site position in Catonsville, MD; remote work not available initially, but a hybrid schedule may be considered after training
Schedule: Monday-Friday, either 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with flexibility as needed

Qualifications for the Project Accountant:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred, or currently pursuing such a degree
5-8 years of accounting experience, with a focus on billing and collections
Intermediate proficiency in Excel required; knowledge of pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and formulas is advantageous
Experience with Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint is a plus, though not mandatory
Background in engineering, construction, or professional services industry is desirable
