Full job description Scheduled Hours 40 Position Summary Provides computer support by developing, implementing, documenting and running computer systems and programs. Responsible for aspects of planning and directing systems development and enhancement. Job Description Primary Duties & Responsibilities Interprets computer-programming requirements from verbal or written specifications received from senior members of applications development staff. Converts project specifications into sequence of detailed instructions and logical steps for coding into language to be processed by computer. Runs and tests programs. Replaces, deletes or modifies codes to correct errors. Writes documentation to describe program development, logic, coding and corrections. May write instructions for users to describe installations and operating procedures. Preferred Qualifications Degree in computer science, engineering, or comparable. Minimum of one to three years experience in computer science, engineering, or comparable. Experience working with neuroimaging data. Understanding of mainframe or UNIX systems, data communication principles, and programming experience using Python/Matlab/C/C#. Ability to collaborate and work well with a team in an academic setting. Required Qualifications Equivalent of Bachelor's degree in computer programming with two years of experience as a programmer analyst.
Grade G12 Salary Range $57,300.00 - $97,700.00 / Annually
The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
