The Program Manager is responsible for managing awarded projects to the time, cost, and quality requirements. This position requires a detailed-oriented individual who can provide project management leadership and drive accountability on a cross functional team. The Program Manager will utilize engineering and project management talents to facilitate customer product development and launch.
This role requires working in an office environment (not hybrid or remote) at ConMet's corporate headquarters in Vancouver, Washington. Non-local candidates must be open to relocation (relocation assistance available.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Lead cross-functional teams, both internal and external, in the development of new products Use communication skills to ensure team members/stakeholders are appropriately informed including awareness of project scope, milestones, and main points of contact Drive project work to completion, using good judgment in determining when to escalate issues to management Supports sales growth initiatives and works with all departments to support and quickly respond to customer requests Participates in quotes for new and existing programs Ensure all project documentation is accurate and reliable Creates and manages budgets related to development and product cost ensuring target financial goals are achieved Education and Experience: Bachelor of Science in Engineering required Two to five (5) years' experience required Minimum two (2) years' experience in Project Management required Commercial vehicle knowledge or commercial vehicle component knowledge preferred Foundry (iron or aluminum) manufacturing and finishing processes experience and knowledge preferred About ConMet ConMet, a division of Amsted Industries, is a leading global supplier of wheel hubs, aluminum castings, and structural plastics to original equipment manufacturers and aftermarket channels in the commercial vehicle industry. Compensation & Benefits New hires generally start between $81,475 - $116,393. The full salary range for the position, across all geographies is, $81,475 - $139,671 per year. The upper portion of the salary range is typically reserved for existing employees who demonstrate strong performance over time. Starting salary will vary by location, qualifications, and prior experience. Targeted annual bonus is based on company performance to objectives during the fiscal plan year which runs from October 1 – September 30. Vacation plan – ConMet offers exempt employees a paid vacation benefit that provides the flexibility to take time off from work based on factors including good discretion, sound performance, and consideration of overall team and business needs.
