If you're looking for a challenging role that will make the most of your skills while allowing you to make an impact, this is it.Enbridge is hiring a Program Manager right now—when you apply, Raise will review your application within 48 hours and contact qualified applicants for interviews.High-Level DescriptionThis position is responsible for the program management of pipeline repair integrity digs, while working closely with Pipeline Integrity, Construction Management, Environment, Land Services, Control Center, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Finance and Safety departments to ensure the schedule, scope, and budgets are maintained for each dig.Specific AccountabilitiesManage Pipeline Integrity digs from dig receipt to close out for initiation, planning, pre-execution, execution and close out phases of work management.Manage detailed design work by contract and/or consultant resourcesPerform day-to-day project activities; complete various documentation including permits, reports and utility crossings, ensure regulatory compliance, and review Company standards and proceduresDevelop and define construction scope to define baseline metrics, estimates and schedule,As a gatekeeper to ensure that all requirements are met before proceeding to the next stage of the project.Conduct field visits as required to monitor work progressCommunicate with Pipeline Integrity on status of upcoming digs, act as liaison between PI and ConstructionReview dig-packages issued by PI prior to field receiptRequest field reviews of new sites to ROW, Environment, Construction, and Safety as appropriateCreate Work Order (WO) and Work Release Contract (WRC) requests for excavation, sweep, Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) and inspectionManage costs through establishing baselines, change management, cost variance reporting and close management of POs and AFEsSubmit outage requests to the appropriate Outage Planner(s) and follow up to make sure sites are approved prior to starting workUnderstand and administer contracts with general contractors, survey and NDE vendorsVerify any revisions on Safe Excavation Pressure (SEP), deadline changes and other information that can affect the sites on their assigned zones, and provide a weekly progress report to ManagerCoordinate and assist in repair decisionsParticipate as required in Project kick off meetings, progress meetings, lessons learned meetings, and close out reviewsPredict obstacles, challenges and risks to proactively determine mitigation strategies and innovative solutions to problemsScope/DimensionsMultiple individual AFEs of $1MM to $50MM (cumulative annual budget of $100MM)Decisions and recommendations have the potential to significantly impact project schedules, costs, and qualityContacts (Working Relationships)Work closely with project teams to achieve program / project goals and milestonesInterface with project sponsors, internal stakeholders, vendors, consultants, contractors and Enbridge operations staffSupport Sr. Project Engineers and Project Managers with managing program work.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesRequired:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or ConstructionDemonstrated technical competence in at least one of the engineering or construction disciplines, with the ability to overview and/or practice in other disciplines.Minimum 7 years of progressively complex detailed design and/or project or program management experienceGeneral understanding of pipeline and terminal operationsExcellent oral and written communications skillsSoftware experience with: MS Office Suite, Oracle Cloud, etc.Problem solving, decision-making, organization, planning and leadership skillsCollaborative, team- and service-oriented work styleMotivated self-starter who works well independently in a fast-paced team environmentValid driver's licensePreferred:Exposure to more than one Engineering disciplinePMP CertificationWorking ConditionsOffice environment with some field work requiredScheduled travel to offices, operating facilities, construction sites, and supplier facilities (up to 10%)Available outside normal work hours to address any technical, cost, safety, quality, and environmental issues that occur during active projectsPlease note: Successful applicants will be employees of Raise, working at Enbridge facilities with both Enbridge and contract employees.Applying with RaiseRaise is an established IT and engineering hiring firm with over 60 years' experience connecting talented candidates with meaningful work.
