Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team. As a Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for children while their parents are at work or otherwise unavailable. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children.
Duties:
- Supervise and monitor the safety of children in your care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate and engage children
- Create a structured daily schedule that includes playtime, learning activities, meals, and rest periods
- Assist with feeding, diapering, and personal hygiene tasks as needed
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress and well-being
- Ensure that all health and safety guidelines are followed at all times
- Provide a nurturing and supportive environment for children to learn and grow
Requirements:
- Education: A degree in Education or related field is preferred
- Experience: Previous experience working with children or students is highly desirable
- Knowledge: Familiarity with educational principles and child development stages is beneficial
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience: The ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations is crucial for this role
- Flexibility: Childcare Providers must be adaptable and able to adjust to changing schedules or unexpected circumstances
Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.
