Make an Impact as the Program Coordinator of Residential! The NewPath Child & Family Solutions Program Coordinator of Residential oversees, manages the therapeutic milieu and assists with managing the residential staff . The Program Coordinator will ensure that supervised program staff are in compliance with all agency policies and procedures. The Program Coordinator will educate employees and model evidenced based interventions that promote treatment, appropriate levels of care, and education.
Location: This is a full-time position located at our NewPath East Campus, working with our Residential Interventions Program.

Works with the Director and Supervisors to maintain a safe and therapeutic ratio for the youth, ensuring appropriate staff scheduling and coverage at all times. Works with the Director in developing and implementing quarterly staff appreciation incentives and activities. Facilitate EQ 2 training with residential staff. Actively participate in all clinical and leadership meetings to stay current with all clinical and program needs. Manage the daily programming for all youth, supporting and role modeling with staff trauma-informed and trauma-responsive interventions to assist with de-escalation and promote the youth's increased engagement in daily programming to achieve their treatment outcomes. Develop, manage, and implement the ongoing unit and bedroom rules to ensure safety and unit organization. Develop, manage, and implement a monthly calendar of daily enrichment and extracurricular activities for the youth to increase the structure of the residential programming. Facilitate the Kids Committee and Activities Committee to increase enrichment activities and outlets for the residential youth. Manage all purchase requests for all youth and program needs. Works with the Director to manage communication and collaboration with all operational partners, such as Forest Hills School, Birthday Blessings, internal NewPath departments, and all other external community providers, for ongoing needs and special outings and activities. Available to facilitate after-hours residential admissions, training in completing admissions in electronic health record. All other tasks, as assigned by direct supervisor. What You Bring To The Table Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Social Work, Psychology, Education, etc.) and/or have three years' experience in the mental health field. Understanding of various mental health diagnoses. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Good analytical, problem-solving skills, and the ability to remain calm and professional in crisis situation. Initiative and ability to work independently. Must be at least 21 years of age. Have a valid driver's license and good driving record with no more than 5 points and current automobile insurance. A clean criminal background check.
