Job Title: Professional Structural Engineer
Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Professional Structural Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and ensuring the structural integrity of various projects. This position offers the flexibility of fully remote work, enabling you to contribute to our team from anywhere in the world.
Key Responsibilities:
* Utilize your expertise in structural engineering principles to design and analyze various structures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
* Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop innovative and cost-effective structural solutions for projects.
* Conduct site visits and inspections as needed to assess structural conditions and provide recommendations for repairs or improvements.
* Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and clarity of information.
* Use MBS software proficiently to create models, simulate structural behavior, and analyze complex systems.
* Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in structural engineering technology, and relevant codes and standards.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
* Professional Engineer (PE) license in at least one state.
* Demonstrated proficiency in MBS software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, or similar).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
* Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment, managing time and tasks efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Master's degree in Structural Engineering or related field.
* Experience working on a variety of structural projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial.
* Familiarity with building information modeling (BIM) software.
* Additional professional certifications or training in structural engineering.
