Remote Onboarding Instructional Designer needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client based in Portland, OR. Summary
To facilitate the expansion of our Onboarding program, we are seeking a dynamic and innovative Onboarding Instructional Designer to update our established onboarding program content and migrate it into the Docebo LMS platform. This role requires a blend of instructional design expertise, content development, technical proficiency, and project management skills to update onboarding eLearning courses and transition them to a new LMS. Additionally, the person in the role will develop content to support our Industry and Product Capability enablement needs.
What You'll Be Doing: Create engaging and interactive learning materials, including e-learning modules, presentations, job aids, videos, and assessments dedicated to the Onboarding Program. Partner closely with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to make content edits and prepare eLearning content for transition. Develop and manage training timelines, assets, and resources using the Asana project management platform. Provide design and development support for our Product and Capability Onboarding Workshop Work with regional enablement Program Managers to prioritize content for global onboarding programs. What You Need to Bring to the Table: Instructional design and content development (scripts, job aids, eLearning, etc.). Demonstrated ability to use Articulate Rise and Storyline Experience with multiple learning management systems Experience using the Google Office Suite (Document, Spreadsheet, Slides, Meet, etc.) Video editing skills using Camtasia or similar tool. Demonstrated proficiency in prioritizing and multitasking Coordinating and working with Subject Matter Experts to gather, create and review content. Track record demonstrating attention to detail and managing complex design/development projects, ideally using the Asana Project Management tool. Ability to work independently and with a team. Curiosity and ability to learn new industries and technologies. Communicates effectively and proactively, both verbally and in writing Problem-solving and time management skills Demonstrates professionalism, discretion, and good judgment in interactions with coworkers, customers, and vendors Takes initiative, anticipating needs and taking responsibility to follow through Pay Range: $50.00/fhr. Paid weekly.
