MACHINE OPERATOR IN RICHMOND, VA
Volt is immediately hiring for a Machine Operator i n Richmond, VA. As a Machine Operator, you will be: Willingness to work safely by following all procedures and policies required. Responsible for operating the production machinery to make silt fence products - willing to train. Mechanically inclined applicants also preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. to waist height. Professional, courteous attitude toward work and ability to communicate work-related issues clearly. Responsible for housekeeping in immediate work areas. Work overtime as needed. This is not a warehouse/forklift position but the operation of machines.
This is a Full-time , contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will have: Need associates capable of operating our production machinery/workstations productively and safely. The machine completes all tasks the candidate is responsible for loading uncompleted parts and offloading completed components. Manual lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted along with no lifting above the shoulder. Responsible for quality checks and reading of tape measures. Machine Operator background preferred. Pay Rate: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour.
