Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor - Precast Concrete Concrete Careers is assisting a client in finding a Production Supervisor for their precast concrete manufacturing facility in the Grand Rapids, MI area. The salary ranges from $75,000 to $85,000 annually, with comprehensive benefits provided.
Summary: As Production Supervisor, you'll oversee production operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. This role is crucial for maintaining smooth processes, meeting targets, and leading and motivating a production team.
Responsibilities: Supervise daily production activities, coordinating with the planning department for timely delivery. Optimize production efficiency and minimize downtime through effective techniques and process improvements. Assign tasks, maintain quality standards, and train and develop staff for enhanced productivity. Collaborate with maintenance, quality assurance, and logistics departments to resolve issues and improve operations. Control production costs and ensure adherence to quality control procedures for meeting customer specifications. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and product quality. Foster a positive work environment through teamwork and open communication. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Production Supervisor in precast concrete manufacturing or construction. Strong knowledge of precast concrete processes and quality control. ACI or PCI accreditation is preferred. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills for managing and motivating a team. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Flexibility to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Willingness to work extended hours or shifts as needed. Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday with some Saturday production
Compensation: $80,000 - $95,000 per year
