Production Operator

Job summary
This job is for a Production Operator at Sun Chemical, responsible for producing high quality inks.The operator must learn machines used in production and ensure on-time delivery and product quality.Safety is a top priority in this role.

Responsibilities
• Perform gathering, weighing, and packaging duties for different equipment throughout manufacturing.• Troubleshoot equipment issues and provide input to supervision/management.• Maintain housekeeping and participate in 5s activities.• Create a safe working environment and follow Quality Management System guidelines.• Assist co-workers and promote teamwork with effective communication.• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED.• Knowledge of MS Office.• Ability to repeatedly lift 55 lbs. and stand for long periods of time.• 1+ years of experience in a production/manufacturing environment preferred.• Experience with batch manufacturing preferred.• Forklift experience preferred.
