Production $18-20/hr + tips Minimum 1-year experience baking in a professional kitchen. Professional and detail oriented High standards for quality and cleanliness * Using proof boxes, ovens, 20 & 60qt mixers knowledgeably and meeting safety standards
* Communicating clearly with ownership and production staff
* Consistent punctuality & attendance
* Maintaining Nuvrei s quality standards & quality control
* Follow all Nuvrei company policies
Duties include: Piping, shaping, rolling
Focuses on finishing details of product
Learn the pace & attention to detail unique to our company
Component Production
Piping, shaping, & rolling
Scaling & mixing both yeasted & quick doughs, glazes, fillings, washes, etc.
Preparing mise en place items & garnishes
Monitoring par inventory levels at work station
Using proof boxes, ovens, 20 & 60qt mixers knowledgeably and meeting safety standards
Communicating clearly with baker and production staff
Consistent punctuality & attendance
Maintaining Nuvrei's quality standards & quality control
Follow all Nuvrei company policies
Qualifications: Current OR Food Handler s Card
Knowledge of lamination processes, dough proofing, handling & mixing
Strong attention to detail
Basic math skills
Understand written & verbal communication
Ability to work standing for long periods of time
Ability to be led and learn quickly
Compensation is competitive and determined based on experience, performance and position held. Health care benefits are available for full-time employees after 3 mos. Our kitchen is structured into 4 positions that sequentially build knowledge and broaden your skill set. By the time you reach the top level (M1) you will be operating as sous chef and well equipped to handle the ins and outs of running a kitchen.
