DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following: Produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies. Read and decipher schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements. Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies Verify adequate materials and supplies are available to complete operations as needed Adjust machine as needed for changeovers, different functions, or other varying needs of production Spend 10 hours a day working on your feet on the ergonomically enhanced BMW assembly line Cleans and maintain work area and equipment, including tools Conduct quality control checks periodically ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Critical thinking, problem-solving and multitasking skills Stand and/or move at a fast pace for up to 10 to 12 hours a day Bend, squat, reach, lift, and stoop repeatedly throughout the course of a 10 hour shift Ability to lift up to 50lbs with or without reasonable accommodation Must be able to discern written and oral instructions and communication Must be able to exchange accurate information written and orally REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: 1 year assembly/manufacturing experience Experience working in other production roles is a plus High school diploma or GED ABOUT US: I.K.
