Analyze project requirements and technical specifications for Micron and OEM Non-Volatile Memory Express (NVMe) hard drives, NVMe controllers, SATA drives and SATA and PCIe controllers on servers; developing technical procedures to automate manual cases to improve productivity using python scripts and deployment frameworks such as MTAP (Micron Test Automation Platform). Design and develop test plans and validation process in MTAP for overall test coverage of NVMe, SATA Solid State Drivers (SSD) and servers to launch products without bugs. Install test bed setup, executing test cases, identifying and writing bugs in JIRA and resolving, and fixing bugs. Develop and upload test scripts, running manual tests, recording results, and raising and resolving defects to follow validation procedures and ensuring that the test results are well documented. Create technical documentation for work procedures, system workarounds, new product features and training materials. Monitor the server logs, project status, production server health and validating the progress and measure system performance using tools such as FIO, mobaxterm, and Medusa. Modify and enhance existing software to correct errors and to adapt them to new hardware to improve performance. Develop, maintain and administer static infrastructure such as servers, UART serial cabling, controller jumpers, software installations, teraterm software, linux servers, ncmt tools for firmware low level update, management servers, storage/network switches, oscilloscopes and analyzers to ensure smooth running of the project process. Evaluate system interface between Micron's hardware and software technology, developing system specifications and performance requirements, and resolving customer issues. Analyze system logs with the help of UART, script logs, mint traces, event logs, oscilloscopes and analyzers to understand and resolve root-cause problems and implementing the DevOps and Agile Methodologies. Manage end-to-end process of SSD projects for Storage Validation team including developing, testing, deploying and maintaining the business solution implemented. Understand the Micron Storage Disks and generating meaningful insights out by using various parameters like wear level, stability levels, workloads, latency, IOPS, CPU Usuage, Throughput, Seek Time, doorbell registers, Admin and IO Command queue specs. Validate Non-Volatile Memory Express (NVMe) and SATA protocols at firmware level using protocol analyzers, ARM log traces and Controller log output; and validating Drivers in Windows, Linux and VMware operating systems using virtual serial port logs, event logs and traces.Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field and 4 years of work experience in job offered or 4 years of Electrical Engineer, Software Engineer related experience.The US base salary range that Micron Technology, Inc. estimates it could pay for this full-time position is $155,550.00- $227,000per year.
