Description
As a production trainer, you will be primarily responsible for training new Caterpillar team members in Assembly and Logistics positions. This is an intentional development position, lasting no longer than 18 months. Eligible candidates must currently be working in Clayton, NC and be full time regular Caterpillar employees.
Basic Qualifications Previous machine assembly experience or previous forklift experience (with certification) of at least 18 months
Ability to sit/stand for prolonged periods
Ability to perform repetitive operations
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
Top Candidates will also have Prior training experience
Previous leadership experience (either formal supervisory or informal leadership experience)
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Strong quality and attendance record
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize work
Strong commitment to Safety
Some education beyond high school

Shift: 1st Shift
Hours: M-Th 6 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Starting pay rate: $25.96
Work location: Clayton, NC
