Requisition #: 72914 The Role at a Glance We are excited to bring on a Customer-Focused Sr. Product Owner to our Group Protection business. Lincoln Financial Group is on a multi-year journey to transform our customers' experiences through new and enhanced communications and telephony experiences. As our investment in this journey continues to increase, we need a Product Owner to help lead this transformation. As a Sr. Product Owner, you will join Group Protection's Agile Product Owner team and will be responsible for defining and prioritizing a product backlog for an Agile development team. Working in partnership with cross-functional teams to understand customer and business needs, you'll work closely with the software engineering teams to implement solutions that achieve those needs. What you'll be doing Leading the implementation of improvements to Communications and Telephony solutions Defining User Stories that will be implemented by an Agile software development team Continuously prioritizing the product backlog to ensure that the Agile software development team is focused on the highest value work Coordinating with other Product Owners and team members to manage dependencies across teams Partnering with Product Managers and other stakeholders to understand customer needs and current or emerging trends to refine the longer-term roadmap What we're looking for Must-haves: 5 - 7+ Years of experience in Product Ownership / Management, Business Analysis, Project Management, or other Agile-related role within a development team that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position. Proven track record as a strong collaborator and communicator 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) Nice-to-haves: Product Owner or other Agile certification(s) Experience working on customer-facing solutions Experience with Group / Employee Benefits product lines, such as Disability Insurance, Absence Management, Group Life Insurance, Dental/Vision Insurance, and/or Supplemental Health Insurance #LI-Remote What's it like to work here?
