You will be a member of the Oracle Linux product management team and will oversee the engagement of internal and external stakeholders, designing and delivering the best operating system for modern applications and workloads. You will collaborate with engineers and business leaders and open source communities developing use cases and requirements to create innovative solutions and drive growth.
Responsibilities The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years experience with an undergraduate degree in business, computer science or similar major and should be able to:
+ Demonstrate advanced knowledge of open source development models and experience with open source community engagement. Experience in operating system development is a plus.
+ Develop use cases and drive requirement and design reviews with relevant stakeholders
+ Build collaboration channels across multiple lines of business teams in a global setting
+ Engage with open source communities, participating in the exchange of ideas and partnering on improvements and features through existing forums or the creation of new ones
+ Participate in community and strategic events, representing Oracle and the Oracle Linux platform
+ Partner with hardware and software vendors to deliver integrated solutions leveraging Oracle Linux
+ Manage multiple solutions and projects with varying lifecycles and milestones
+ Develop, review and contribute product collateral, including product documentation, roadmap presentations, marketing collateral, blogs and whitepapers

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
