PRODUCT MANAGER – MEDICAL DEVICES

Our strategic growth envisions the development of

DryDirect brand

focusing on end users; You will be leading this growth strategy operating with US branch leaders as well as the Italian HQ to define strategic direction and formulate strategic plans.

Main responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the production processes for assigned product groups, focusing on end users, lead-time, cost drivers, and margins
Acquire full knowledge of end-user product category and performance requirements, translating them into programs and identifying new product development/introduction projects.
Lead new product development/introduction initiatives, including test market evaluations, product positioning and executing launch plans.
Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to build up and successfully launch new product categories both sourced from Italy and outsourced from global suppliers under Dry Direct brand
Develop communication and promotion plans, ensuring pricing guidelines, compliance and reporting of results.
Create and implement informative, training programs for end users, sales teams, and internal support departments (Customer Service).
Support updates to catalog and online materials, including website and digital content, and revise copy as needed. Write/edit sales aids, training materials, and other associated sales tools
Monitor product and unit sales, devising tactics to enhance performance (gross margin) and exceed goals.
Assist in forecasting annual needs and quarterly updates for assigned product line.
Attend and actively participate in conventions within defined territories, engaging in selling activities, conducting competitive surveillance, and meeting key product line influencers
Analyze the US catalog, identify potential holes in the online assortment and scout suppliers alternatives to fill such gaps.

Requirements:
Bachelor Degree
Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in consumer products, with relevant exposure on new products, financial aspects, and cross-functional project team involvement
Strong knowledge and experience in marketing fundamentals
strategic and analytics skills with demonstrated ability to turn into actionable strategic frameworks and operational plans
Ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple concurrent initiatives that have significant financial impact
Knowledge of all aspects of retail growth drivers
Strong executive presence and communication skills; capable of influencing and driving collaboration at all levels within the organization, as well as externally in business development and supplier management
Innovative thinker with a flair for creative solutions, adept at identifying and seizing strategic business opportunities
Adaptable and agile in work approach.
Exceptional presentation and training abilities for both internal and external stakeholders.
High emotional intelligence, adept at understanding and managing interpersonal dynamics.
Competent in managing the entire product launch process.
Proficient in computer applications, especially spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software
Availability to travel
