Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to join our Directed Energy and Tracking Systems Program and manufacturing team. As a Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the production of our innovative Counter UAS products on the manufacturing floor. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing production schedules, supporting financial analysis, reporting to internal / external stakeholders, and maintaining effective customer interfaces. This position will have a significant focus on schedule and scheduler management to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities: Product Production Management: Supervise and coordinate the production of Counter UAS products, ensuring that quality standards and specifications are met. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and quality control, to optimize the production process and resolve any production-related issues. Schedule Management: Develop and maintain detailed production schedules, ensuring that production timelines are met or exceeded. Proactively identify bottlenecks and potential delays, implementing strategies to keep production on track. Continuously monitor and update schedules to adapt to changing project requirements. Financial Analysis Support: Work closely with the finance team to analyze production costs, budget utilization, and cost-saving opportunities. Assist in developing and managing the budget for the counter UAS program, ensuring that financial goals are met. Customer Interface Support: Act as the primary point of contact for customer reporting regarding product status, delivery schedules, and any product-related inquiries. Ensure that customer expectations are managed effectively and that any concerns or issues are addressed in a timely and professional manner. Scheduler Management: Supervise a team of schedulers responsible for maintaining and updating production schedules. Provide guidance, training, and support to schedulers to enhance their effectiveness and accuracy. Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to production, scheduling, and customer interactions, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks. Monitor and report on risk mitigation progress to senior management. - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a master's degree is a plus.
- Active DoD Clearance is Preferred
- Proven experience in product management, particularly in a manufacturing or aerospace setting.
- Strong understanding of scheduling, production management, and financial analysis.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with both internal teams and external customers.
- Leadership and team management skills to effectively oversee schedulers and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of the counter UAS industry and the latest developments in UAS technology is a significant advantage.
