Shepherd Hardware offers a full line of general duty and industrial casters, replacement wheels and an unsurpassed range of floor and surface protection products including but not limited to felt, sliders, anti-skid products, rubber cups and bumpers. The core product lines can be found at most hardware retailers in North America and are marketed under the Shepherd Hardware brand as well as various customer-specific brands.Job Summary:A Product and E-Commerce Marketing Specialist is responsible for driving the online sales on large retail platforms, researching trends in customer purchases and evaluating changes in the online retail market through data analysis. This role will assist decision-makers in the development of e-commerce products and online business strategies, and manage a defined range of products across various identified ecommerce platforms. Provides excellent customer service and innovative marketing ideas.Primary Responsibilities:Determine companys e-commerce goals and KPIsManage numerous SKUs across multiple marketplacesUpload new product with clear product descriptionIdentify key areas for improvementTransform data into operational insightsResearch competitors, alternative markets and opportunities in the e-commerce spaceDevelop solutions in conjunction with marketing and salesReport and act upon changes and market trendsEstablish goals and that support the company objectivesManage freight to assure the lowest cost and highest service ratesAbides by all established organizational policies, rules, and regulations.Performs other related duties as assigned.Skills/RequirementsIn-depth understanding of web-analytic tools, and knowledge of terminology and measuresProvides stellar customer serviceExcellent written and verbal skillsComfortable presenting to a groupConducts business by using appropriate judgement for actionsProject management abilitiesKeen attention to detailExperience:3 years-experience in digital economies and e-commerceProven record of driving website traffic, increasing sales on large retail platforms and improving customer retention.Retail marketing and customer serviceInventory managementEducation:Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing Data Analytics or related fieldHigh school diploma or equivalent required
