Responsibilities
• Maintain outstanding guest service• Prepare fresh fruits, vegetables and salads for the fresh-cut sales area• Ensure quality, freshness, selection, and adequate quantity to meet expected sales• Comply with all food and workplace safety rules and regulations• Implement correct product preparation techniques• Use and operate related equipment• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and sanitation of work area, cooler, and equipment• Assist in the training and development of peers• Uphold merchandising and store cleanliness standards• Perform all job duties and responsibilities safely, accurately, and with honesty and integrity
Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred• Food preparation, produce department, and retail store experience preferred• Willingness to learn• Solid team player with excellent interpersonal skills• Commitment to service excellence and guest satisfaction• Strong communication skills, organizational ability, high attention to detail, and ability to multi-task• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays• Regular on-site attendance required• Minimum age: 18 years• Ability to stand for an extended period• Able to lift 40 pounds frequently• Moving and handling boxes of product throughout the store, which entails lifting and reaching, climbing and bending
