Responsibilities
• Welcome, engage, serve, and thank customers.• Maintain an atmosphere of friendly, enthusiastic customer service.• Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer awareness and interactive engagement.• Perform receiving duties including verifying orders, reporting shortages, and claims.• Insure proper merchandising for freshness and quality of goods.• Maintain cleanliness and eye-appeal of work area, storage area, and selling floor.• Ensure safe/secure work environment.• Perform duties with honesty and integrity.• Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
Requirements
• Perform basic math and compute weights and measures.• Consistently provide friendly, courteous service.• Work varied shifts between 4:00 am and 11:00 pm.• Conduct visual inspection, read written material, communicate in writing.• Reach, lift, and maneuver objects up to 50 lbs. frequently.• Push and pull fully loaded handtrucks and pallet jacks.• Stand for long periods of time, walk and move rapidly, bend, twist and turn frequently.• Perform safe/quick movements and operate related equipment.• Work with hands exposed to ice, moisture, fruits, and vegetables.• Work in a refrigerated environment (34 - 55 degrees F).• Learn proper handling, preparation, seasonality, and perishability of products.• Wear personal protective equipment as required.• Must be 16 years of age or older.• Obtain Food Handlers Certification (Per State Laws).
