Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I, Procurement UnitResponsible for analyzing, consulting with, and providing direction to all levels of staff and management on all aspects of the State purchasing processEnsures compliance with statutory requirements, as well as state policies and procedures

Responsibilities
• Perform a variety of analytical and administrative duties• Analyze and consult on complex purchasing requests, including IT products and services• Provide direction to staff and management• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and state policies/procedures
Requirements
• Background Investigation clearance required• Confidential information should not be included in application documents• Possession of minimum qualifications will be verified• Submit unofficial transcripts if using education to meet minimum qualifications• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management• Strong writing and analytical skills• Experience in procuring goods and services• Understanding of federal and state legislation, statutes, and regulations related to procurements and services• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential assignments• Flexibility in adapting to changes in priorities and assignments
