Responsibilities
• Monitor, adjust, and repair packaging equipment for optimal performance• Inspect equipment for hazards, defects, and compliance with codes• Diagnose and locate the cause of breakdowns or operational problems• Clean, lubricate, and repair machinery and equipment• Ability to repair and fabricate components using machine tools• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on equipment
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial mechanical repairs• Minimum 1 year of trades training in industrial maintenance or other technical discipline• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings• Operate a variety of hand and power tools• Good knowledge of process equipment and strong mechanical aptitude• Good oral communication skills• Flexible with work scheduling and overtime• Basic mathematical skills• Teamwork ability and ability to train others
