Overview We are currently seeking a skilled Process Technician to join our team at our facility located in Grand Rapids, MI, 49512. As a Process Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of molding machines, including Injection Molding, Blow Molding, Extrusion, and Rotational Molding machines. Your expertise in plastic extrusion, material experience with plastics such as Nylon 6, Nylon 66, PA6, and PA66, as well as your ability to read blueprints and troubleshoot mechanical issues, will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities Operate and maintain Injection Molding, Blow Molding, Extrusion, and Rotational Molding machines Set up tools, dies, and molds for production Read and interpret blueprints to ensure proper setup and production Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues that may arise during production Monitor and adjust machine settings to achieve desired product specifications Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of machines Collaborate with the production team to optimize processes and improve efficiency Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area Qualifications Prior experience operating Injection Molding and Blow Molding machines Proficiency in operating Extrusion and Rotational Molding machines Strong knowledge and experience in plastic extrusion Familiarity with plastics such as Nylon 6, Nylon 66, PA6, and PA66 Ability to set up tools, dies, and molds for production Excellent blueprint reading skills Proven mechanical troubleshooting skills Attention to detail and ability to maintain product specifications Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment You should be proficient in:
